Whilst working on the Data Doctors challenge this week I noticed that there are a lot of profiles managed by you that have fixes needed. Looking at the Suggestions list for your Profile I see that you have over 700. As we all work together to improve the quality of the information on Wikitree it would be really appreciated if you could review and resolve the issues associated with the profiles you manage. If you look at the drop downs from your profile ID at the top right you'll see Suggestions at the bottom of the list. If you click on "Show suggestions in profiles managed by" you then you'll see all the items that need correcting. Each one has a "?" in the left hand box that you can click on and it'll explain what the problem is and how to resolve it. Many thanks Sarah

Because Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within a project coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches dates of profile, avoid abbreviations, add sources with citations & links for sources to support the data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources
The Netherlands Project would be of interest. Adding the tag Netherlands will connect you
Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic please read the goals & tasks of the project

PS Links not working, click them in your comment box
I see that you are placing your sources in "ref" tags as an inline citation. But doing so after the references tag in the text means that they will not show up when someone tries to click on them. As time permits, would you please fix this so everyone can see your source?
Thanks, Dave WikiTree Ranger

How are you? I'm David a WikiTree Mentor. Thanks for adding profiles to WikiTree. There are reasons behind the eighth point in our Honor Code: "We cite sources. Without sources we can't objectively resolve conflicting information." A source provides a way to find out more about the person. Showing sources reduces confusion and duplicates.
Here is what our Sources help page says. It has lots of ideas: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources
The Sources Style Guide shows how to enter sources in the biography.
This page describes sources and how to enter sources and is a favorite, Jilaines Dream Sources Help Page.
And I'm here to help too, just ask!

How is it going so far, were the How-Tos pages helpful or did they leave you with questions?
Clicking your green tags will show other members who follow that tag. Add tags for locations, Country, County or topic of interest DUTCH_ROOTS. The more tags you add the more links to community & research options Information on tags is on page one of the How To pages.
We want to help you learn about the site and the community, hopefully you found the pages and links useful. I have page one bookmarked for reference page
